Job Title: Technical Business Analyst - Employer: Iowa Workforce Development - Project: Unemployment Insurance Tax Modernization - Role: Consulting with business and development staff to define requirements and processes - Work Schedule: At least 2 days a week onsite - Responsibilities: Preparing gathering and validating requirements, preparing requirement and process mapping documentation, facilitating requirements sessions with business stakeholders and leadership - Requirements: - 10 years of involvement in prior technology implementations - 10 years of experience in leading requirements gathering and validation with staff - 10 years of experience in developing requirements documentation - Use Cases - 10 years of experience in testing system functionality against requirements and specifications - 10 years of experience in training staff on system functionality as developed - 10 years of providing general technical assistance - Experience in using Atlassian Suite – Jira, Confluence, etc - 10 years of experience in Finance/Accounting projects - Desired Qualities: Leadership, strong team contribution, eagerness to learn and develop, patience in pursuit of excellence - Project Aim: To modernize UI Tax system by re-architecting its components to industry-leading architecture and frameworks, and to provide better service to both the agency staff and the end-users while positioning the agency for future technological improvements.
