Overview:

We are seeking a talented Technical Business Analyst with expertise in the AdTech domain to join our team. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, with a focus on AdTech solutions. You will be responsible for understanding business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and collaborating with development teams to deliver innovative AdTech solutions that drive business growth and revenue.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document requirements for AdTech solutions, including advertising platforms, ad serving technologies, data management platforms (DMPs), demand-side platforms (DSPs), and other AdTech systems.
Analyse and evaluate business processes, workflows, and data flows within the AdTech ecosystem to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
Work closely with software developers, architects, and QA analysts to ensure that AdTech solutions are designed, developed, and implemented according to business requirements and industry best practices.
Conduct data analysis and provide insights into ad performance, audience segmentation, targeting strategies, and other key metrics to drive advertising effectiveness and ROI.
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the AdTech space, and provide recommendations for new features, enhancements, or integrations to stay ahead of the curve.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to ensure successful delivery of AdTech projects on time and within budget.
Support end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation reviews to validate AdTech solutions and ensure they meet business requirements and objectives.
Provide training and support to business users on AdTech systems, tools, and processes to maximize their effectiveness and efficiency.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for AdTech solutions, providing guidance, expertise, and thought leadership to internal teams and external clients as needed.


Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, MBA is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst, with a focus on AdTech solutions.
In-depth knowledge of the AdTech ecosystem, including advertising platforms, ad servers, DMPs, DSPs, SSPs, and programmatic advertising technologies.
Strong understanding of digital advertising concepts, such as ad targeting, audience segmentation, ad formats, ad tracking, and attribution modelling.
BA Tools – Confluence, JIRA, Atlassian R4J, Rally, Lucidchart, Balsamiq, MS Visio
Proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements, creating technical specifications, and facilitating communication between business and technical teams.
Must be well versed with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and have hands on experience with tools like Jira and Confluence.
Must have excellent documentation skills around documenting BRD (Business Requirement Document), FRD (Functional Requirement Document) and Use Cases.
Experience working in Agile development environments, with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or relevant AdTech certifications (e.g., IAB Digital Media Sales Certification) is a plus.
Familiarity with data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) for analyzing AdTech data and generating insights.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously while delivering high-quality results.
