Description:
- Managing, execute and support the development, analysis and growth of ALI Dealer and the client’s Field Team “Engagement Analytics.”
- Much like a marketing analytics position, this business analyst will be responsible for monthly attendee metrics, developing analysis to identify and understand attendee trends with a goal to increase attendance.
Typical Day:
- Analysis of business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision makers
- Works directly with business partners to understand informational needs and create reporting/visualization solutions that turn data into critical information to ultimately drive business decisions
- Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.
- Participate in cross functional teams to address business issues.
- Prototypes solutions for displaying information based on business needs. Prototype, develop, rapidly iterate, test, and deploy into production automated reporting solutions
- Demonstrates knowledge and ability to handle basic issues independently.
- Present insights outputs to leaders and advisors,
- Locating and obtaining data from various internal and external sources
- Potential to perform other job duties as assigned by management from time to time.
- Incorporate statistical methods and/or digital methods to solve business problems
- Participate on 2-3 projects concurrently
Technical Skills Required:
- 2+ years of experience in design and prototyping dynamic views and visualizations for large and complex data sets in Tableau and/or Power BI
- 2+ years of practical experience delivering production deployed solutions
- Visual design expertise & passion for graphic design
- Working knowledge of one or more programming languages
- Experience with data structures using SQL
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Management studio, R, SQL, DevOps, Excel, Alteryx, Snowflake is a plus
- Design thinking experience
- UI/UX experience
