Technical Consultant - SAP

This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Technical Consultant - SAP who will play a major role with the technical design and development of the company’s technical offerings. The position is based at our Leicester office with occasional assignments at client locations. Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities): Implement, configure, and upgrade SAP software. Analyze business processes, develop process models, and analyze/develop/test/implement/maintain processes. Responsible for preparation of Fit-GAP documents, business process documents delivery of large global, multi-module SuccessFactors implementation projects Responsible for creation of functional specifications for developments for NetWeaver Gateway Services (O Data Services) to build FIORI apps for Quote and Sales processes Plan, coordinate, and conduct SAP training. Assist with application and integration of SAP modules including finance, logistics, and HR. Responsible for Unit Testing & Integration Testing of Quote and Sales processes Based on functional design and customer needs, write code in ABAP, Fiori, CAP, RAP, and/or HANA native. Work using SAP Analytics technologies such as BW, BW/4, and SAP Analytics Cloud Translate business requirements into functional (SD resource) & technical (technical resource) specification documents. You will be responsible for Design and Development of EDI functionality for Sales Order, Quotation, and Invoice documents. Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment] Previous experience as an SAP Technical Consultant or in a comparable function. Prior experience with SDLC methodologies such as ASAP. Prior experience with SAP modules FI and CO, as well as other SAP products or mobile technologies such as FIORI and systems, is preferable. Previous experience engaging in and supporting SAP migrations. Experience with SAP Workflow and workflow concepts. Experience with S/4 HANA is a plus but will not be applicable in their day-to-day activities. Experience with PI/PO Enterprise Service Builder and Integration builder is a plus. Experience with developing in SD, MM, FICO modules and knowledgeable in using the related transactions. Knowledge of SAP ECC HCM configuration, specifically in OM, PA and PD. Provide Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) on selected business processes to assemble input into business case. Collaborate with multiple teams including other SAP modules (FI/GL, FS-PQM, FS-PM, FS-CM, FS-ICM, and FS-RI) experts to define and understand the requirements and then explain the system solution. Must be well versed with SAP Implementation methodology including Project documentation, As Is Study, Business Blueprint, Regression and Integration Testing and SAP data migration process etc. Must have CS module expertise such as Configuration of aftermarket processes like Field service, Rent to Return and In-House repair processes. Excellent hands-on experience in all types of ABAP development: Reports, Enhancements, BADIs, Function Modules, IDOCs, ABAP OO, OSS Notes, Screen Painter, Debug.
