Technical Lead (API design)

UST is currently recruiting for a Technical Lead (fixed term contract) role who comes with a strong technical background to join their award-winning team.

About the role

The successful candidate will be a team player with a proven background of managing IT teams, a solid technical background and possess excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Deliverables:

o Experience in managing IBM API Connect Gateway projects

o Experience in managing and delivering the technical aspects of migration projects

o Be well-versed in REST fundamentals and API design best practices.

o Closely work with API developers/testers/analysts/engineers and help them with their day-to-day constraints and supervise their work.

o API design using tools provided by the IBM API Connect V5 / V10 suite. Experience on Apigee, Mulesoft, Kong design toolkits is also desirable.

o API design, BaaS, Advanced proxies, Analytics, Developer Portal, and creating RESTful API patterns.

o BIAN Framework and its application within the banking sector.

o Software development using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Nexus, Maven, Harbor…).

o Advanced use of Postman, and swagger definition using either JSON, or swagger 2.0 and OpenAPI 3.X.
