Description

We are in search of an experienced Production Support Tech Lead with a strong background in.NET technologies. The Production Support Lead will be responsible for overseeing a team of production support engineers and ensuring the smooth operation of our client’s production systems. This role requires technical proficiency in support processes (.NET, SQL, and Angular JS, excellent leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Skills Required:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of production support engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure efficient incident resolution and system stability.
  • Incident Management: Oversee the timely resolution of production incidents, coordinating with team members and cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of.NET technologies to address complex technical issues, including troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and incident reports, ensuring knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Automation: Identify opportunities for automation in production support tasks, streamlining processes, and reducing manual interventions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Implement and maintain monitoring tools to proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks and issues in.NET applications.
  • Change Management: Collaborate with development teams to manage the release of new features, updates, and patches, ensuring minimal disruption to production systems.
  • Emergency Response: Participate in an on-call rotation for critical incident response outside of regular business hours.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to provide insights on production-related issues and contribute to the enhancement of system reliability.


 

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in production support, L2/L3 level
  • ITIL/ITSM Certified
  • Previous leadership or team management experience
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Application Insights, ELK Stack)
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong technical proficiency in.NET Core, SQL Server, Angular JS, and related technologies
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Previous experience in a DevOps or SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) role
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum development methodologies
