Job Title: Technical Product Manager – Multi-Cloud Networking

Job Description:

  • Apply your knowledge of market, product, competition, and most importantly those earned secrets with early customers to define, build and iterate on product functionality.
  • Drive product development across teams (primarily Engineering, Customer Design/Experience, Operations, Product Management, Business Development, and Marketing) by developing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) that will include business requirements, user stories, high-level design and deployment details.
  • Evaluate industry innovations and technology platforms and identify product partnership and collaboration opportunities to accelerate and or address gaps in the product portfolio.
  • Think digitally regarding product, sales, customer, and full life cycle experience with the goal of improving the customer experience from beginning to end.
  • Author collateral, FAQs, white papers, and presentations that can be leveraged across Client, external partners, and customers.
  • Interact with senior level executives within Client and with Fortune 500 companies, and therefore must be an exceptional communicator.
  • Own designing business models, pricing, channel strategy, target segments, customer profiles, execution plan and financial business cases for services and platforms.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and six or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of professional work experience working one or more of the following: deign, manage and monitor multi-cloud networking, private cloud networking, data center networking, networking services provided by public cloud providers, Wide Area Networking (WAN), SD-WAN, cloud to site networking, site to site networking.
  • Work experience in the NetOps (Network Operations) organization of an enterprise is strong plus.
  • Good working knowledge of one or more of the following: software defined cloud interconnects, hybrid cloud and distributed cloud environment management, application migration from Private to Public Cloud, cloud application performance management, Network Security, SecOps (Security Operations), FinOps (Cloud Financial Operations), networking services offered by public cloud providers e.g. Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Express Route, API Gateway etc.
  • Ability to work to completion without direction.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills - ability to use data to develop and measure go to market programs.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in a design and/or engineering field and an MBA.
  • Ten or more years of demonstrated full-lifecycle ownership of product development, with cross team and cross discipline execution, either directly or as an organizational leader.
  • Ability to conceptualize new, innovative applications/services and justify design, build, and/or buy decisions using solid ROI analysis.
  • Knowledge of business objectives and be creative enough to help define what we build, with demonstrated experience leading developer facing product efforts.
  • Communication skills to manage the large degree of external interaction with customers and partners the role needs.
  • Ability in delivering quickly and collaboratively.
  • Ability to take ownership and is accountable for quality of all deliverables.
  • Ability to lead/supervise multiple projects, also performs project management activities such as planning, sizing, configuration, resources and scheduling.
  • Ability to conceptualize and develop resolutions to complex market challenges and customer use cases that require the use of creativity.
  • Ability to make decisions that impact projects and staff members.
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Holds patents or has published industry papers/documents/literature.
  • Knowledge of products and technologies across Client and how they may strategically align with projects.
