Responsibilities:

1. Lead the end-to-end project management lifecycle for Azure-based initiatives, from project initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.

2. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, and success criteria, and develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.

3. Manage project scope, risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively identifying and mitigating potential roadblocks to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.

4. Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, status updates, and communication channels to ensure alignment across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

5. Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related inquiries, escalations, and decision-making processes, providing regular updates and progress reports to senior management and key stakeholders.

6. Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into Azure cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural standards, security guidelines, and best practices.

7. Monitor and track project progress, performance metrics, and KPIs, leveraging project management tools and dashboards to measure and report on project health and status.

8. Facilitate knowledge transfer and training sessions for internal teams and end-users to ensure successful adoption and utilization of Azure-based solutions.

9. Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in cloud computing, Azure services, and project management methodologies, and incorporate relevant insights into project planning and execution.

 

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, Azure certifications) is a plus.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management, with a focus on Azure cloud projects and infrastructure deployments.

3. Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Active Directory, and Azure DevOps.

4. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget, with demonstrated experience managing large-scale, enterprise-wide initiatives.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

6. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps).

7. Strong leadership abilities, with the capability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

8. Experience working in cross-functional, geographically distributed teams and managing vendor relationships and third-party service providers
