Technical Project Manager

Summary:
 

The profile will be required to focus on project for setting up Disaster recovery environment for Net banking application. HDFC has hybrid environment and presence with all hyperscale, Disaster recovery will be setup in AWS primarily but will touch across other hyperscale and data centre for multiple integrations. Technical project manager is expected manage complete set of activities related to this project delivery. The role will also be expected to participate in presales, client management, delivery governance along with end-to-end execution.
 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
 

·       10 – 14 Years of experience in Infrastructure Delivery Management in IT industry. 
 

·       Having rich experience in delivering complex cloud-based projects.
 

·       Worked with large, multi-vendor cross geographic work scenarios.
 

·       Excellent skills for gathering requirements from Program manager and delivery heads along with business stakeholders to accomplish project successfully. 
 

·       Proven technical and team management skills.
 

·       Exposure to large migrations and infrastructure automation is a must.
 

·       Experience of working on large scale cloud migrations & presales.
 

·       Candidate should have experience in cloud infrastructure delivery management
 

Requirements

·       Good knowledge on Project Planning and Project Tracking
 

·       Experience in managing Disaster recovery projects will be preference
 

·       Strong ability to manage and execute on multiple project timelines and priorities
 

·       Experience with Scrum methodology and Agile practices. Should have experience of JIRA tool.
 

·       Strong leadership, project management skills, time management, and problem solving skills.
 

·       Experience in customer handling and should have working in different project phases.
 

·       Experience in requirement gathering and task mapping.
 

·       Experience in effort estimation, project reporting and status tracking.
 

·       Should have experience in project level budget control, budget and resource management. Internal project status reporting and customer project status reporting.
 

·       Most suited applicant will have experience working on large scale cloud migrations or DR & presales exposure.
 

·       Candidate should have experience in cloud infrastructure delivery management.
 

Desired Technical Knowledge:
 

·       Amazon Web Services (Knowledge of a secondary cloud will be a bonus)
 

·       DevOps (understanding of automation)
 

·       Cloud Migration or Disaster Recovery (using different tools and services)
 

·       Experience in handling large teams, with good interpersonal skills
