Description

A strong technical SME is needed to engage with Compliance and Sales and Trading Risk, to expand Trade Surveillance requirements. This candidate will act as a product owner and subject matter expert on the project, manage the agile delivery of various projects. Strong client stakeholder skills will be paired with strong knowledge of institutional trading and deep technical skills in order to successfully execute this work.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the business to help translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional, testable specifications.
- Work as a member of an Agile squad in the development of surveillance controls
- Perform feasibility analysis, scope projects, prioritize deliverables, recommend alternative solutions and project strategies, and engage in negotiations.
- Work as a liaison between business unit and delivery team in all phases of development from product definition to deployment
- Act as SME to business working with them on system and data questions
- Write BDD cases that can be used to streamline QA and UAT processes

Skills required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field OR Bachelor’s degree in a business/finance related field with technical experience required
- Strong SQL and Data Analysis knowledge is a must; Knowledge of Java, Scala or Python is preferred.
- Good understanding of Agile SDLC concepts.
- At least 3-5 years of experience with software development projects
- Relevant and substantial work experience with business requirements definition and management (end to end), structured analysis, process design, and use case documentation
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Effective collaborator across a variety of IT and Business groups, regions, roles and levels
- Ability to influence decisions/ mindsets

Skills:
- Strong financial product experience preferred
- Experience building visualizations such as with Tableau

Any Graduate
