TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement test automation scripts using OpenText ALM and UFT test suite.
• Identify and resolve automation issues and challenges.
• Collaborate with software developers and SQA analysts to ensure the quality and functionality of the software products.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on automation scripts.
• Mentor and participate in cross-training with other team members on automation fundamentals and techniques.

Skills and Ability:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with VB scripting to create/modify code for test cases.
• Experience with test management tools such as ALM or Jira.
• Excellent communication, program-solving, and analytical skills.
• Experience with developing test automation scripts and timely maintenance of the scripts as per the changes in the application.
• Solid knowledge of SQL to query DB2 data and verify results.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience with manual test execution - Test Scenario and Test Case Writing - Test Metrics and reporting.
• Experience with Automated Testing products such as Tricentis Tosca, Cypress or Selenium, Jira.
• OpenText ALM and UFT.
• Experience with UFT's Business Process Testing (BPT) framework, creating mainframe automation scripts using UFT, and Performance testing preferred.
