Responsibilities

Advanced development of training material and/or recommends or utilizes vendor programs that meet instructional goals and objectives

Creates & formulates training guides and determines instructional methods, utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such methods as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops

Expert facilitator who delivers group and individual instruction and training covering a range of technical, operational, and/or management areas related to the wind industry and power generation

Responsible & held accountable for executing the O&M training program with the goal of building a foundation of the companies Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) values and programs. This includes but is not limited to, implementing, and evaluating training matrix for all technician and manager levels & supporting training curriculum roll-out and scheduling

Evaluates effectiveness of training and development programs and utilizes relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in instructional objectives and methods that have a measurable financial impact to the Wind O&M business

Leads a team by establishing an annual training plan including training budget costs & and revenue generation

Up to date on current trends and emerging innovations in training delivery & execution; provides recommendations on new formats and technologies to enhance effectiveness

Documents and tracks hands on specialized training and train-the-trainer training including LOTO, Qualified Electrical Worker, hydraulic system troubleshooting, SCADA systems usage, CMS systems diagnostics and repair, Substation Switching, Preventative maintenance activities

Leads collaboration efforts with the HSEQ, O&M and Technical Support teams and key customers to develop training plans to meet business needs

Integrates with procurement and contracts for training vendors
