About the job
Key Responsibilities
Create, edit, and maintain high-quality product documentation in English, ensuring content is clear, concise, and user-friendly.
Develop dynamic content such as self-help video clips, tutorials, and guided flow steps to enhance the customer experience.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and user experience designers to ensure documentation aligns with product features and user needs.
Utilize modern documentation tools and techniques to produce engaging and interactive content.
Continuously update and improve documentation based on customer feedback and product updates.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with certifications in Technical Writing, Communications, English, or a related field desirable
Proven experience in technical writing for modern digital products, with a focus on customer experience-centric documentation.
Demonstrable expertise in creating dynamic content, including self-help videos, tutorials, and guided flow steps.
Exceptional command of the English language, with strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Proficiency with documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or similar such digital product / platforms.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
Experience in a tech or software development environment.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence Azure devboard etc.
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
Hands-on on at least one popular video editing and tutorial creating platforms
Nice to have
Background of having worked in financial industry – banking / ecommerce / payments / lending areas etc.
Comfortable with common digital applications and communication tools such as chatbots, chats and collaboration platforms like Teams, Zoom channels etc.
