Technical Writer

Job Description

Seek technically capable candidates to develop new product's technical documentation and update legacy product documentation for semiconductor equipment.
Source relevant content knowledge from databases, pre-existing documents, tool builds and Subject Matter Experts to create, develop, update, and publish highly accurate, complete, and concise product and service documents on a timely basis
Develop and author technical documents while adhering to publication processes and style guides. Work with the Applied Material Manager to determine the scope, deliverables, and schedule of documentation projects.

Requirements

Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in technical publishing software:
DITA XML: Oxygen Editor
Content Management System (CMS): SDL Tridion Docs, SharePoint, Teams
Graphical: Inkscape, Notepad++, and MS Paint
Adobe Suite: Acrobat Pro DC, FrameMaker 
MS Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to work in a cross-functional organization and multitask on multiple projects.
Must be a quick learner, self-starter, with strong attention to detail and can work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
