Client seeks an experienced technologist to serve as a Technical Writer / Communication Specialist for their Identity and Access Management (IAM) Team. The primary responsibility of the Communication Specialist is to create communications content on behalf of the IAM team. Essential qualifications for this role include concise writing, effective communication, attention to detail, and a customer-centric approach. A degree in communications, journalism, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of technical writing experience, is required. Preference will be given to candidates with IT communications or higher education experience. Job Duties: Write and Send Email Responses: Reviewing Emails: Responsible for managing a dedicated support inbox. They’ll be responsible for reading and understanding incoming emails, identifying the purpose (e.g., inquiries, requests, complaints), and categorizing them appropriately. Timely Responses: The staff member must respond to emails promptly. This includes addressing queries, providing relevant information, and ensuring courteous communication in a timely manner. Quality Control: They should ensure that email responses are accurate, concise, and aligned with project details. Any necessary follow-up actions or escalations should be clearly communicated.
