Technical/Professional - Inspector - Receiving

Job Description: ***This position is for a Mechanical Inspector***

The ideal candidate will perform various types of mechanical inspections including dimensional, in-process machining and assembly, final inspection, receiving inspection, and routine first pieces on fabricated, subcontracted, and/or purchased parts. Will be required to perform mechanical inspection utilizing Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other technical inspection equipment.

• Must be familiar with and capable of learning the use of all measuring instruments, tools, and gages required to perform various mechanical inspection functions.
• Must have a good understanding of shop math and blueprint reading / interpretation. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical processes or other control procedures.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Normally utilizes computers to enter transactions, validate information and maintain database.
• No degree required

Manager looking for:
1-inspection background (preferred Mechanical inspection experience)
2-Ability to use computers
3-Electrical background

***Required: experience using Calibers, Micrometers, CMM-Coordinated measuring machine
