Technology Business Systems Consultant

Responsibilities
 

• Working directly with system end users within the business to understand their needs for Business intelligence solution
• Developing a deep level knowledge and understanding of both the commercial banking business and the BI (OBIEE / Power BI / Tableau / Qlik)
• Responsible for migration from Oracle OBIEE to Power BI / Tableau / Qlik
• Assessing client needs, hands on experience on agile methodologies, maintaining business intelligence infrastructure, and providing support to business analysts and managers
• Creation of data models, access structures, and reports by using SQL / Python
• Ability to analyze large datasets, big financial data by using SQL / Python

Key Skillsets include:

• Expertise and understanding of commercial banking Financial attributes
• Experience of working in an agile software development environment
• Strong experience in problem solving
• Experience of migration of data from Oracle to BI tools
• Able to understand complex business situations and problems
• Very strong verbal and written communication skill
• Ability to work closely with end users in the United States
• Database experience and ability to write basic SQL/ Python statements
• Data analysis abilities

 Essential Qualifications
 

• Master / Bachelor’s Degree in related field required
• 5+ years of experience as a BI developer
• Experience in the financial / banking industry (experience in commercial banking preferred)
• Experience working directly with end users to collect information and requirements
• Flexibility to work in different shifts
