Overview: transitioning from Cisco to Alcatel, and we're seeking two Telecom Technicians to assist with VoIP implementations in the Green Bay Area

Responsibilities

Adhere to telecommunications policies to ensure security and business continuity of VoIP enterprise network. Install and test new and existing VoIP telephone and voice mail components at hospitals and critical locations. Provide guidance to VoIP Technicians and Telecom Analyst Associates during campus projects. Execute service ticket requests for complex telephony service issues. Assist with designing, planning, deploying, and supporting large VoIP telecom solutions. Manage port activation, connectivity, testing, and user placements. Program VoIP telephony systems for advanced call routing. Conduct audits on business continuity processes and monitor deployed VoIP systems. Handle small station wiring requests and perform wire cross-connecting. Troubleshoot and identify telephone issues, replacing defective hardware and making software adjustments. Document repairs and installations, maintaining accurate records. Collaborate with other departments to improve VoIP telephony equipment and services.

Required Experience
1-2 years of experience in telecommunication services or IT Hardware Support, including diagnosing and troubleshooting service issues, wiring, voice mail programming, basic phone networking configuration, and VoIP technologies
