Teradata Developer

Role Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Teradata Developer with over 10 years of experience in Teradata development. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Teradata database architecture, data modeling, and SQL programming. Additionally, experience with Cognos and knowledge of Hyperion are desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Teradata-based solutions, including data warehouses, data marts, and analytical applications.
Design and implement Teradata database structures, tables, views, and indexes to support business requirements.
Write complex SQL queries and optimize query performance for large-scale data processing.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Perform data analysis and troubleshooting to identify root causes of data issues and implement corrective actions.
Develop and maintain ETL processes using Teradata utilities or third-party tools.
Work closely with the data architecture team to ensure data integrity, consistency, and security in Teradata environments.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the development team.
Collaborate with other IT teams and business units to integrate Teradata solutions with other systems and applications.
