Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive test plans based on technical requirements.
Construct and manage network topologies for test execution.
Utilize strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Implement and execute test cases, and develop automation scripts to enhance efficiency.
Regularly report on testing progress and outcomes.

Candidate Profile:

Proficient in Layer 2 and Layer 3 Protocols.
Experience with API and UI testing is highly desirable.
Strong automation skills with Python and Robot Framework.
Collaborative team member with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Technical Expertise:

In-depth knowledge of switches, routers, and IP Networking Fundamentals.
Specialization in one or more of the following areas:
Layer 2: Mastery of Datacenter & Switching technologies, including STP, RSTP, MSTP.
Layer 3: Expertise in routing and routed protocols, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, L3VPN, L2VPN, EVPN, OSPF, ISIS, BGP.
Proficiency in automation for all technical areas is required, with skills in Perl, Python, and Robot Framework.

Experience and Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (BE/BTECH/ME/MTECH) from a renowned university or college.
10+ years of experience in networking product validation.
Networking certifications such as JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, or equivalent are advantageous.
