Roles & Responsibilities:

Proficient in Automation testing, a good understanding of testing life cycle and test processes.
Good exprience in Selenium, Cucumber.
Well-versed with Web & Mobile Apps testing and basic debugging.
Should be able to identify & write efficient test cases.
Given a high-level test plan, should be able to analyse the risk and extract the test cases if it's not already mentioned in the plan.
Sometimes we even get the consultants to develop test plans and as such, they are expected to have functional testing knowledge.
Well-versed in working with developers and product managers.
Should be able to understand the internals of a system and not just think from the UI point of view.
Given a problem they should be able to look into the logs and try to understand the issue.
Our tests might need them to look into the API's for further debugging.
Should be able to execute automation and add simple test cases to existing automation.
Mobile Application Testing.
Complex Web Application Manual Testing.
Database and API Testing.
