Test Engineer IOS-XR

Job Description:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for IOS-XR networking products.
• Perform detailed testing of Telemetry technologies such as gnmi and grpc.
• Validate routing protocols including BGP and ISIS.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Go and Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and identify test requirements.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex networking issues and provide detailed reports on test results.
• Continuously improve test processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Test Engineer with a focus on IOS-XR.
• Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including Telemetry (gnmi, grpc) and routing protocols (BGP, ISIS).
• Proficiency in Go and Python for test automation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Experience with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
