Summary:
The main function of a test engineer is to research and test the design, functionality and maintenance of products, equipment, systems and processes and develop quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Hands-on experience on 2D or 3D camera module test, calibration and characterization
Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields such as chemical, electrical, or mechanical.
Design test plan and perform end to end test setup, data collection, and analysis for setting up test specs and validation
Improve test coverage by developing lab and factory tests, including metrology and algorithm development
Module level failure analysis
Review and approve sampling procedures and designs, forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
Experience in E2E production/factory test is a plus (proto-build to mass production)
Skills:
Precise verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability
Strong data analysis capability in Python or MATLAB
Test automation capability in Python or MATLAB
Image processing background is a plus
Signal processing for depth measurement systems is a plus
Education/Experience:
Master’s degree in optics, electrical engineering, applied physics, or similar
5 years’ professional experience characterizing, testing, or designing semiconductor devices, imagers, depth cameras, or similar
2 years’ experience with bring up and debugging of electronic devices
2 years’ experience with statistical data analysis
