Test Manager/Lead

100% Remote

Long-term Contract

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

a. Assist with the development and review of all test cases in support of the solution implementation.

b. Develop State test scripts to ensure proper coverage of user stories and/or use cases.

c. Assist with the prioritization of defects.

d. Review vendor deliverables for testing protocols and execution; provide comments and recommendations to approve or request deliverable changes.

e. Support primary functional testing activities with the new solution.

f. This position will be expected to assist State team members with functional testing for all testing phases involving State staff (integration, system, and user acceptance).

g. Report on testing status throughout all relevant project phases to project team.

h. Other duties related to testing as assigned and as needed by the Child Care Services Office.

 

Required Experience and Skills:

a. Have at least 5 years of experience with developing test scripts, developing testing scenarios, and performing software testing in large and complex environments.

b. Have at least 5 years of testing experience within different areas of the SDLC (system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing).

c. Experience utilizing tools (e.g., Jira, Excel) for logging and tracking defects.

d. Ability to maintain working relationships with implementation vendor, State business and technical teams and other project participants.

e. 2-3 years of experience testing with the IBM Cúram Social Program Management platform.
