Job Description:

  • Use the knowledge in IBM Transaction Processing Facility (TPF) & airline crew domain to develop new technical solutions for Flight Operations System (FOS).
  • Perform the impact analysis and prepare high-level design for the requirements.
  • Code and enhance programs using TPF, Sabretalk and high level assembly language knowledge.
  • Use TPF Toolkit & Debugger knowledge to trace and fix the defects.
  • Prepare unit test plan and test report. Co-ordinate with the clients for system test and user acceptance test
  • Interact with offshore, onsite and clients.
  • Monitor application server logs and repository logs for different errors and report application bugs.
  • provide on call support.
  • Years of experience needed – 8-10 years

Technical Skills:

  • Experience as a zTPF Application's Programmer
  • Experience working an agile environment .
  • Must be proficient in Assembler, IBM TPF Tool Kit, and CVS tools
  • Exposure to SABRETALK language a plus
  • Strong analytical / problem solving skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
