Training and Development Manager

Job Description:

• Assists with overall management and development of Sligo Software Solutions In-Person, Remote and hands-On training programs for all Employees along with management of training methods and materials.
• Must be proficient in understanding of Software development lifecycle (SDLC) process, Business requirements and Project management (PM) and must have ability to translate software development language into user-friendly language.
• Manage enterprise-wide training and learning strategies including blended learning and eLearning solutions as well as training documentation for multiple modalities. Training includes videos, instructor-led training courses, user guides, wiki pages, email communications, etc.
• Lead and manage training teams to plan, design and develop end-user training strategy, including developing course curriculum, structure, content, and delivery methods to produce high-quality, engaging training.
• Supports Sligo Software Solutions training program development by providing input into the training plan, attendee registration, delivery, and evaluation activities in a timely fashion.
• Coordinate to provide high quality technical training to employees to build technical expertise and keep up to date with latest technologies needed to perform job effectively.
• Helps design the training curriculum and conduct training sessions and ensures that training is provided for all employees including technical and back-office staff.
• Promotes staff buy-in and collects required feedback from both full-time employee and contractors. Use organizational skills to multi-task and manage time across multiple initiatives
• Helps develop and create Sligo Software Solutions training videos from start to finish (including scripts, storyboard and edits). Deliver group training sessions as well as large auditorium training sessions.
• Use Udemy, LinkedIn, W3Schools and evaluates training through Surveys. Should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, WebEx, MS Project and SharePoint 11. Provides training, guidance, and support to trainers to effectively train and communicate with employees.
• Proficient in Managing and recording training videos including uploading to cloud and communicate with employees regarding links to cloud, location and monitor viewership
• Interact with high-level executives, Sligo Software Solutions executive management and business teams to ensure high quality training solutions are implements and aligned with the business objects and operational needs.

Requirement & Qualifications: Candidates that possess at a minimum of bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, in Computer Science, and/or in a related field.
