Required Technical Skill Set:

 

  • Cisco UC / Collab Engineers (CCNP Collaboration level), with strong UCCX skills
  • Perform analysis of the networking problems as well as provide highest-level crisis management.
  • Engineer, configure and lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Unified Communications (Video, VoIP and data networks), LAN/WAN, Cisco routers, switches, and other network infrastructure devices
  • Implement and support Unified Communications solutions for clients based on industry best practices
  • Ensure familiarity with customer network planning, implementation and support processes and procedures.
  • Design, Administer, Support and Maintain SFB/O365/TEAMS and Enterprise Voice Services
  • Strong troubleshooting and administration experience on SIP trunks, SBC's, O365
  • Has Strong understanding of VoIP/SIP, TCP, UDP, switching, routing protocols

     

Must Have Skills

 

  • Responsible for high and low-level network planning, design, optimization and operational support for the Cisco VoIP telephony systems.
  • Develop strategies and directions for network solutions using current and emerging technologies.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce corporate policies, standards, and guidelines that are aligned with the company's strategic business objectives as they pertain to the Corporate Network.
  • Translate business requirements into network or process designs.
  • Plan and recommend network hardware, systems management software and architecture.
  • Builds, configures, and maintains network switches, routers, load balancers and various voice appliances.
  • Monitor network performance, perform capacity planning and proactive in assessing and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Applies continuous improvement techniques to ensure the network infrastructure attains maximum performance, security and availability.
  • Must ensure that the network environment maintains appropriate recovery, and redundancy issues are addressed.
  • Responsible to appropriately prioritize network faults, then diagnose and resolve problems in the shortest possible time all while under pressure from the various other impacted business groups.
  • Coordinate with sites to provide technician training for new hardware.
  • Responsible for the daily monitoring and management of IP network appliances.
  • Develops and follows procedures to handle network fault events and perform system-wide/cross functional team management.
  • Maintain all documentation regarding network infrastructure.
  • Provide work leadership and training to lower level network engineers.

  • Work with TAC support for any software or hardware related issues.
  • Resolve incidents/problems/Changes according to established procedures
