UI automation Engineer

Description: 
Designs, develops, and implements web-based Java applications to support business requirements.
Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing.
Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.

What will this person’s day-to-day responsibilities be
Understand business requirements and domain by manual walkthrough of the UI flows of features in the current automation backlog.
Automate existing backlog of features using Kotlin , Java, Appium and Saucelabs.
Maintain existing automated UI flows, debug failures and fix them, regularly run them using CI/CD pipeline.
Attend various meetings, daily standups and effectively articulate daily update as tangible results and communicating blockers/issues
Effectively participate in planning meetings and backlog grooming sessions.
Participate in production bug triage, learn means to effectively debug issues and assist dev team with inputs.
