About the Role:

Job Title: UI Developer

Location: Chicago, IL (3x a week onsite; preferably Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday)

Day to Day: 

Ascendion is looking for a strong UI Developer to join the User Experience/Front-End Development team. The responsibilities of this role is to support the front-end development and integration of the internal-facing platform.

Must Haves:
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular.
• Kafka for messaging and to enable rapid short-term recovery, horizontal scalability, and workload distribution
• Knowledge of working with NoSQL, DynamoDB, and MongoDB.
• Experience working in the AWS cloud environment.
• Strong communication skills and is a team player.
• Microservices to provide dedicated business functions
• Hadoop for analytics.
• Experience in Java is a must
• Runtimes / Application servers – One of the following - Spring Boot, Docker, Tomcat
