Must have skill: Ideally: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular/React - along with other as many skills as possible

Typically requires 5-6 years of experience



Required (hard) skills/experience
1. HTML
2. Experience with GIT distributed version control, branching/merge strategies, and Bitbucket
3. A solid understanding of Front-end design patterns and principals: Responsive Web Design, MVC, BEM, OOCSS, Event Delegation, Modules, Singletons, Prototypes, Mixins, Publish/Subscribe, XHR, Server-side vs client-side, etc.
4. A solid understanding of AJAX and how to fetch data from a service endpoint that can be used to render dynamic web content
5. A solid understanding of semantic HTML and CSS3 (SASS), including layouts, responsive design, and accessibility (WCAG 2.1)
6. Experience with Front End and accessibility tools: Devtools, Web Fiddler, Visual Studio (or preferred IDE), JAWS, Voiceover, Talkback
7. Comfortable reviewing a UX wireframe and building corresponding UI efficiently; Works with UX partners and identifies design risks proactively to deliver applications for high-traffic websites
8. Familiarity with performance optimization tools (i.e. lighthouse) and techniques (image compression, lazy loading, bundling, sprites, etc.)
9. Familiarity with Node, NVM and NPM
10. Experience with Vanilla JS (ES6) and modern Javascript frameworks and libraries (examples - Vue, React, Polymer, Angular, Handlebars, JQuery, and others).
