User Acceptance Test (UAT) Manager Duties

 

Assist with managing user acceptance testing to ensure test planning and execution, assist with developing and maintaining quality assurance standards and processes, assist with developing and maintaining UAT test plan and strategy, implement a process to ensure UAT execution meets auditing and federal certification requirements, assist with leading, coaching, and mentoring UAT team members, collaborate with HFS staff on creation of test cases, assist with creating and executing business requirements, test plans, and test scripts, communicate regularly with other UAT and development team, work with the UAT team leads, development team, and managers on future/current release planning, strategy, and estimates, assist with elevating defects and issues to management and test leads for concurrence, attend project status meetings and report on UAT status, communicate status to management and stakeholders as necessary through summary reports, assist in planning for transition to production, assist the Contract Project Manager to manage and coordinate the operational assignments of the project team, assist with developing HFS deliverables in accordance with project requirements and agency documentation standards, provide recommendations to HFS on critical business and project decisions, assist with ensuring that all project identified processes and methodologies are executed and followed, review and assess project schedules and project management plans for quality, completeness, compliance, interface with HFS, vendor, and program area, other additional duties as they are assigned by HFS staff or project lead, assist with reviewing the design of the packaged software configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements.

Assist with managing the migration of configurations across instances, assists other teams with understanding the functional impact of various configuration options, assist with monitoring components testing of system configuration, assist with monitoring and participating in additional testing, including assembly test of work units and system test, assist with monitoring and reviewing all appropriate documentation required by the developers, testers, deployment team, and application management team.

 

User Acceptance Test (UAT) Manager Skill Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent workplace experience equivalent to four (4) years of college. 3 years of managing a User Acceptance Test team. Experience in a range of testing methodologies (i.e., Unit Test, Integration Test, System Test,

Performance Test, Acceptance Test). Experience using Microsoft Office tools Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience of at least one programming/ scripting language (e.g., Java, SQL). Experience of at least one database management system (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle SQL). Proficiency in written and spoken English.
