UX Design Manager

Job Description
• Position is hybrid from NY office. Onsite min 2x per week

About the project
Design a state-of-the-art interface for our existing Equity, Strategy and Commodity calculation system (T3) that is used by S&P DJI Operation team to effectively configure, monitor, compute and use to disseminate key S&P DJI indices.

About the role
• We are looking for a UX designer with 5+ years of PROVEN HANDS-ON experience to join our team and help us create engaging, user-friendly, and accessible digital experiences.
• You will be responsible for conducting user research, creating user personas, designing user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI mockups, and testing and iterating on your solutions.
• You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand the user needs, business goals, and technical constraints, and to deliver solutions that meet or exceed them.
• You will also contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system, guidelines, and best practices.

Requirements
• A bachelor's degree in UX design, human-computer interaction, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of proven HANDS-ON experience as a UX designer, working on web and mobile applications.
• A portfolio of UX design projects that demonstrate your skills and process required.
• Proven proficiency in UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar required.
• Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and data analysis.
• Knowledge of UX design principles, methods, and best practices, such as user-centered design, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/React/Angular) to effectively communicate with developers
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• A passion for solving complex problems and creating delightful user experiences.
• Experience working in an Agile development process is a plus.
