UX Designer (Advanced)

Job Description:
•
Conduct user research to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations.
•
Create user personas, journey maps, and user flows to inform design decisions.
•
Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts.
•
Collaborate closely with product managers, MicroStrategy development team, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design solutions.
•
Implement designs using CSS to create responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.
•
Find creative ways to solve UX challenges, develop personas and usage scenarios.
•
Translate complex data insights into visually engaging and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
•
Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in UX design, particularly those relevant to data visualization and analytics.
•
Provide design guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of design excellence within the development team.
•
Communicate design rationales and present design solutions effectively to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
Minimum Qualifications
•
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Engineering, or a related field.
•
Proven experience as a User Experience Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful UX/UI design projects.
•
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
•
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
•
Proficiency in CSS and experience implementing designs in web development projects.
•
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
•
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The Ideal Qualifications
•
HTML5 and Java Script a plus
•
Experience with MicroStrategy/BI Tools a plus
•
Knowledge of Agile and scrum
•
Analytical and problem-solving skills
•
Have created user flows, wireframes, prototypes, user interface specifications for several mobile or web applications
•
Strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
