What You’ll Do
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Manager of Vendor Performance. In this role, your primary focus will be on ensuring contractual compliance and identifying and eliminating contractual value leakage in our client's Global Technology ecosystem. You will take the lead role in interpreting and understanding contracts, optimizing vendor performance, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, conducting data analysis for enhanced service delivery and participating in activities supporting future RFP's.
•    Contract Interpretation: Evaluate contracts to pinpoint areas for optimization and efficiency gains. Work closely with internal stakeholders to implement process changes to deliver improved service results.
•    Vendor Performance Management: Conduct in-depth analyses to identify inefficiencies, missed deliverables and areas for improvement in established vendor contracts. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, procurement, legal, etc.) to implement waste elimination strategies and enhance overall service delivery. Develop and deploy metrics focused on the integration of quality, timeliness of delivery and cost optimization.
•    Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to systematically identify and eliminate wastes within processes. Apply lean methodologies to drive efficiency gains and cost savings.
•    Communication: Participate and take a strong leadership role in weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews of strategic vendor performance. Act as the subject matter expert for specific Strategic contracts and educate stakeholders on contractual expectations and entitlements.
•    Risk Management: Analyze and communicate risks associated with the absence of contractually mandated vendor services to key stakeholders and ensure mitigation measures are implemented.
•    Data Analysis and Budget Forensic Analysis: Dive deep into data to uncover patterns, trends, and areas of potential improvement. Conduct forensic analysis on vendor invoicing to identify anomalies and areas for investigation.
•    Technology Integration: Utilize solutions to streamline operations and eliminate technology-related wastes. Stay informed about technological advancements to identify opportunities for integration and improvement.
 
What You’ll Need
•    Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology or related field. In lieu of bachelors degree, +10 years in a leadership role in Managed Services Vendor Management or Operations Excellence.
•    Prior experience in vendor performance management, contract interpretation, risk management, data analysis (including budget and spend forensic analysis) is preferred.
•    Lean certification (green belt or higher) from an accredited organization or previous employer or ITIL certification.
•    Metrics and data-driven.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Ability to interpret KPI/SLA and take appropriate action (including communicating the need for performance penalties). Ability to create metrics as necessary to evaluate process outputs.
•    Deep curiosity and a passion for diving into data to uncover underperformance opportunities.
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to influence and influence/coordinate effort without a direct reporting structure is a must.
•    Team-oriented with a passion for driving successful outcomes.
•    Customer obsession and an ownership mindset. Ability to rapidly earn trust.
•    Basic understanding of technology terminology, processes and systems.
