The Okta CIAM consultant interfaces with agency customers and is focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining an identity provider solution as part of the Virginian Identity program. The position will work closely with development, infrastructure, and service delivery teams to understand their needs and deliver a cost-effective solution. Must have experience using OKTA CIAM, integrating client applications using OpenID Connect (OIDC), Secure Access Markup Language (SAML) and client technologies (.NET, Java, etc.).
The candidate will be expected to understand the Okta support system and be able to research Okta documentation and/or contact external Okta resources in order to research and develop solutions to issues as they occur. The candidate will be expected to develop reports and supporting work products. The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be expected to prepare and deliver briefings to COV executives and managers.
