VMware Engineer Manager

Minimum Job Requirements:
• Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant management experience
and 7 years of relevant IT experience. Alternatively, 5 or more years of relevant education, training, and/or progressive experience will be considered.

Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in VMware.
• Understanding of storage protocols such as Fiber Channel, iSCSI, Multipath IO, SAN, and FCoE.
• Experience with storage technologies like NetApp and PureStorage.
• Familiarity with server infrastructure technologies including Cisco Unified Computing Systems (UCS).
• Strong skills in Windows and Unix/Linux environments.
• Knowledge of file and block protocols.
• Understanding of security concepts such as encryption, key management, certificate signing, and user authentication.
• Familiarity with Barracuda and Kemp Load Balancers.
• Proven experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving within a virtual environment.
• Knowledge or understanding of SCADA, IoT, or Operational Technology.
• Experience with backup technologies such as Veritas.
• Participation in disaster recovery teams.
• Understanding of scripting or automation platforms for infrastructure provisioning.
• Knowledge of cloud services, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and delivering services in the cloud.
