VMware RAN Specialist

 8+ years of experience as a field engineer or system test engineer with 5G wireless/cellular systems
·      8+ years of experience with cellular and/or Wi-Fi standards
·      Strong understanding of ORAN/vRAN architecture, protocols, and interfaces (e.g., O-RAN Alliance specifications).
·      Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL for test automation.
·      Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., VMware) is highly desirable. 
·      Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentations skills.
·      Perform RAN and core network management system validation including configuration, performance, and fault management, RAN profiles and device management.
·      Perform validation of key features set, peak and sustained throughput & latency validation, E2E performance optimization and parameter configurations.
·      Experience with Mavenir and/or Samsung RAN environments is a distinct advantage.
·      Experience using Wireshark for packet capture.
·      Experience in VMware Technology
·      Knowledge on DU configuration. Deployment and Testing.
·      Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
·      Proven experience 8 to 10 years in testing and validation of wireless communication systems, preferably with a focus on ORAN or similar technologies.
