VRS Developer (Lead I - Software Engineering)

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Vermillion developer with strong SQL and analytical skills to join the client reporting development team to support the expanding use of Vermilion Reporting Solution.

The client work location is London and is a Hybrid working model.

Applicants who are currently in UK with necessary Right to work in UK would be the preference.

The existing Client Reporting Development team consists of Business Analysts and SQL Developers who are responsible for a mix of project, business as usual requests and ad-hoc production and data issues.

We are responsible for analysing and developing solutions for business applications mainly involving: Markit-EDM (ETL tool), SMI, RDM, Control-M (Scheduler), RDM Reveal, Vermilion (VRS), QlikView & Tableau.

The successful candidate will be trained on any data tools they haven't used previously. The team supports the business teams IT development requirements, leveraging the data and systems architecture deployed.

Our mission is to develop and enhance an efficient, durable, scalable & value-add client reporting platform that meets the requirements of the client reporting team, other internal client reporting stakeholders and ultimately our clients across all product streams, now and in the future. The platforms output aim is to deliver accurate, complete, reliable and comprehensive investment and market data for our clients.
