WAN Engineer

Job Description:

• Performing feature testing for all the WWAN features and validating the carrier requirements for all the supported carrier markets inhouse using the CMW500 box
• Validating WWAN critical features - HW MBN activation, Validating VoLTE/SMS over IMS/Data, SIM Switch, Verizon OMADM client, Cellular and GPRS CSP, RTT, Wi-Fi Calling
• Validating WWAN - LTE/IMS/WCDMA UE registrations in different network conditions, Call flow for CS & PS Gall, Data throughput, IOT Scenarios, Supplementary services for Verizon, ATT Carriers
• Triaging of Verizon, ATT, PTCRB Certification failures and Field-testing issue in order to identify root cause of the issue and provide detailed analysis to the development team and Certification lab
• Develop manual and automation test cases for the Sprint Stories from the respective Sprints - features includes MBN activation, SIM Switch, VoLTE, SMS over lMS, MBN loading, Verizon DM, CSP, RTT, Wi-F¡ Calling
• Document all the issues found during the testing in JIRA providing all the detailed information regarding the issue including the device logs and retest the JIRA with the binaries shared until the issue is fixed.
• Running carrier certification test cases - protocol/signalling & conformance on the Test Lab Equipment setup for debugging & execution whenever required for Verizon & ATT Networks Minimum 3 years if experience
