Web designer

Duties and responsibities

• Effectively translate ideas into design executions, and ensure good quality of the design
• Coordinate with the team and other designers to improve usability
• Staying up to date on changing technologies and tools
• Create mockups and prototypes
• Designing the brochure and banners, logos etc.
• Maintaining and improving the websites
• Technical documentation if required

Requirements

• Knowledge in industry mainstream applications such as Photoshop/ IIIustrator/ Flash etc.
• Knowledge of Dreamweaver or other IDE tools for creating web pages
• Proficient in languages HTML, PHP, JavaScript, CSS etc. to create user friendly web pages
• Graphic designing skills
• Familiarity with design techniques and prototyping
• Good knowledge about industry standard, range of design and digital applications
• Hands on experience on mark up languages
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt new technology

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma/ BA in Web designing or Computer Science / visual communication, digital arts and design, multimedia production, Web application programming and publishing, interactivity and usability testing/ Art & Design
• Certification courses through professional organizations in designing
• Graduation in design/ fine arts
