As a WebMethods Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using Software AG's webMethods platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in webMethods development, with expertise in integration technologies and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using webMethods platform.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design documents.
Develop and maintain webMethods components such as adapters, triggers, and services.
Configure and optimize integration processes to ensure performance and scalability.
Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
Document technical designs, implementation details, and best practices.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.
Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in integration and middleware.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of experience in webMethods development.
Proficiency in webMethods Integration Server, Broker, and Universal Messaging.
Strong understanding of integration concepts and technologies such as EAI, ESB, and SOA.
Experience with web services, XML, JSON, and RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of SQL and database concepts (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Software AG Certified webMethods Developer (CWM) certification.
Experience with webMethods BPM and/or API Gateway.
Knowledge of cloud integration platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker).
