Windchill Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Windchill Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, customization, and maintenance of Windchill PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Windchill software along with a solid understanding of PLM concepts and business processes.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders including business users, analysts, and project managers to gather and analyze requirements for Windchill PLM solutions.
Design, develop, customize, and implement Windchill solutions to support product lifecycle management processes including CAD data management, BOM (Bill of Materials) management, change management, and document management.
Customize and configure Windchill PDMLink, ProjectLink, and other Windchill modules based on business requirements and best practices.
Develop and maintain Windchill workflows, lifecycles, access controls, and data migration scripts to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
Integrate Windchill with other enterprise systems such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), CAD (Computer-Aided Design), and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems using Windchill APIs and integration tools.
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to Windchill PLM system functionality, performance, and integration.
Develop and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, configuration guides, and test plans.
Stay updated with Windchill software updates, patches, and new features to recommend and implement enhancements to existing PLM solutions.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Windchill Developer or Windchill Consultant with hands-on experience in Windchill PLM implementation and customization.
Strong knowledge of Windchill PDMLink, ProjectLink, Change Management, Workflow Administration, and Windchill customization tools (Info*Engine, Method Server, JCA).
Proficiency in Java programming, JSP/Servlets, XML, SQL, and web technologies for Windchill customization and integration.
Experience with CAD integration (Creo, AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and ERP integration (SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Windchill certifications such as PTC Certified Implementation Specialist (Windchill) or similar certifications are preferred.
