About the job

· Administer and maintain Windows servers, ensuring their performance, security, and reliability.

· Perform regular patching and updates to Windows servers to protect against vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies.

· Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.

· Manage backup and recovery solutions to safeguard data integrity.

· Manage enterprise storage systems.

· Administer and maintain Cisco UCS blade servers.

· Oversee Active Directory administration and ensure its optimal performance.

· Manage VMware vSphere (vCenter and ESXi) environments.

· Ensure proper functioning of SAN switch technology.

· Maintain documentation of server and infrastructure configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

· Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.

· Provide weekend and after-hours support as needed.


 

Qualifications:

· Strong experience in Windows server administration and patching.

· Proficiency in managing Windows Server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2016, 2019).

· Strong VMware vSphere (vCenter and ESXi) administration skills.

· Good understanding of SAN switch technology.

· Experience in managing enterprise storage and backup systems.

· Experience in managing Cisco UCS blade servers.

· Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other Windows server roles and features.

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

· Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or VCP-DCV) are preferred
