Summary Of Position

Provide Windows TLE Service Restoration support of production incidents.
Responds to SMC INC requests serving as an escalation point for support teams.
Performs troubleshooting of complex technical issues, maintains SMC incident record of actions taken and fosters 0830 Operations call collaboration on incident.
Assists in TEC problem management efforts for process improvements, including alerting and preventive measures.
Contributes to recreating problems, investigating root causes, and testing of remediation / workaround procedures to speed business restoration.
Facilitates third-party vendor support services to meet business recovery SLAs. Includes capturing logs and uploading them to vendor service requests for analysis.
Collaborates on the design, development, and support of customized installations to meet business requirements.

Assignments Include

LOEv3 project primary WTLE resource - reviews documentation, procedures and prepares WTLE team for SMC incident management efforts.
VMWARE Virtual Infrastructure WTLE resource -reviews documentation, procedures and prepares WTLE team for SMC incident management efforts.
Works with Windows and Hardware Design on new package deployment issues.
Primary WTLE contact for OSS initiative to proactively investigate data backup issues.
Work on SMC
Address difficult incidents that require high level of expertise and knowledge
Lead in closure of SMC incidents so they are promptly and professionally closed

Mandatory Skills: Primary Skills: Windows OS Server / Workstation, Networking Concepts, X86 Hardware, Virtual Infrastructure, Active Directory, MS Clustering, Citrix server / desktop, LOE Infrastructure, HPDP, SEP, Backup Exec, VMWARE, Avamar strong troubleshooting skills and communications skills. Additional Skills: Powershell scripting

Any Graduate
