Job Description:
Our technology group is a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with exciting changes on the horizon under new senior leadership. We are currently looking for a Tibco MFT Windows consultant to support our in-house Tibco MFT installation. You will provide your technical expertise to maintain and ensure performance & reliability of our Tibco MFT environment. In addition, we will rely on you to support our Windows environment, technical design specifications, maintain installation, configuration & monitoring, and oversee capacity planning, BC/DR, backup and fail over in accordance with enterprise standards.
Skills:
Administer existing Tibco MFT (Managed File Transfer) server platform, SFTP and Tectia platforms, to provide secure exchange of Fixed Income data.
Install, support, schedule, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance the Tibco MFT Windows environment.
Assist team members in managing Windows servers & Storage systems.
Provide in-depth root cause analysis as necessary within specialist realms.
Use VMWare native tools (vCenter) to template / deploy / configure / manage Windows & storage Virtual Machines.
Server operations - logistics, planning, monitoring (power / environmental / security), installation of hardware, cabling, rack power distribution and problem resolution.
5+ years of supporting Tibco MFT platform, including installation, configuration, upgrades, troubleshooting and managing disaster recovery processes.
5+ years in supporting Windows Server Operating Systems.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, DMZ, DHCP, DNS, 3DNS.
Strong problem-solving skills to be able to identify root cause issues for supported systems.
Strong Windows and cyber security knowledge to configure and implement enterprise risk compliance requirements (TLS/SSL/Certificates).
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Proficiency administering Tectia SSH Server 6.4x +
Proficiency with scripting languages: Powershell.
