Windows System Administrator (Python Scripting)

Qualification:

As a Windows System Administrator with expertise in Python scripting, you will be responsible for L3 Support , designing, implementing, and maintaining systems and infrastructure to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our Windows-based environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to automate tasks, streamline processes, and optimize system performance

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain Windows-based systems, including servers, workstations, and virtual environments.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python to automate system administration tasks, such as configuration management, software deployment, and monitoring.
• Implement best practices for system security, including user access control, patch management, and antivirus protection.
• Monitor system performance and resource utilization, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues, working closely with support teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Manage Active Directory infrastructure, including user management, group policies, and domain controllers.
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and implement system improvements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in system administration and automation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Windows system administration, including deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Windows-based systems.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for system automation and administration tasks.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation in a Windows environment.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, including user management, group policies, and domain services.
• Solid knowledge of network protocols, services, and security principles.
• Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
