Wireless Engineer

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Wireless Engineer with deep expertise in WiFi technologies to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to help drive the architecture, design, and development of future generations of carrier grade CPE devices and wireless access points. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with internal product and development teams and external industry organizations such as the WiFi Alliance, driving the evolution of WiFi networking, security, quality of service and mesh networking standards, participating in Interop events, and influencing next-generation WiFi specifications. You will also contribute to the development of cutting-edge features for our Access Points (APs) and provide critical support to resolve field issues in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

WiFi Alliance Engagement

Actively represent The Companies interests within the WiFi Alliance, participating in working groups related to WiFi security, interoperability, and future specifications

Provide technical expertise during specification reviews, ensuring alignment with the companys product roadmap and technical vision

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Masters degree preferred

Strong foundation in network engineering principles, including IPv4, IPv6, DHCP, DSCP, routing, and switching

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives
