Description

Responsibilities:

  • Workday/Dimensions QA will test pre-release versions of workday/workforce dimensions updates for ease of use, reliability, consistency, and product defects.
  • Support agile scrum teams in the configuration, development, and execution of systems and end-to-end testing for financial aid systems
  • Create test plans and test cases, including requirements to unit, integration, and system tests
  • Review user interfaces for conformity and functionality
  • As a Workday/Dimensions QA, you will execute test cases across all functional areas of the project
  • Investigate incoming issues by reproducing reported issues and investigating technical issues
  • Find, isolate, document, and track technical issues through to resolution
  • Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
  • Maintain a positive team environment with peers and management
  • Identifies bottlenecks and drives improvements

 


Required Skills : * 3 years of experience with Workday and Workforce Dimensions * Experience working in SDLC, testing, and validating solutions, and working as a Software QA Analyst * Must understand complete payroll process from clocking in hours to payroll being issued * Familiarity with regression, load, unit, and system testing * Excellent communication skills to include internal/external interaction, and documentation * Confident in making decisions, accurate, detailed-oriented, and able to problem solve/analyze * Good interpersonal, listening, written, and verbal communication and basic project management skills * Excellent documentation skills (samples of nonproprietary documentation maybe be asked for review) * Collaborative team player * Proactive, with a sense of ownership * Commitment to quality and attention to detail * Willingness to learn new functions and technologies * Proven ability to self-manage and complete project deliverables
