JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for the Enterprise-wide IT HR Applications development and support activities. The person is expected to provide techno-functional support and leadership for delivering IT projects, including strategic and transformation initiatives for HR teams globally based in Pune.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The person will be involved with the global organization in implementing and supporting HR applications in a highly fast-paced organization. The ideal candidate will be self-directed and motivated with strong analytical and leadership skills, leading business sessions to understand high-level business goals/vision, extract business requirements, define performance indicators, and provide solutions on various IT platforms.
Work closely with the Enterprise-wide IT HR Applications and the HR Data and Process teams, and the local HR team to fulfill defined business goals. Provide expertise in the area of custom developments on on-premise and cloud-based enterprise applications. Experience with Workday is a must.
Should drive and guide third-party technology professionals, including functional consultants and developers focused on architecture, design, and implementation of HR applications. Remain knowledgeable with current and future technologies and providing recommendations as needed to meet corporate IT objectives.
Desired Candidate Profile
Must-haves:
- 3 to 5+ years of Workday Integration experience, including Workday Studio
- Architect, build and test Workday integrations and reports
- Lead Technical analysts to troubleshoot and resolve Workday issues
- Performing Workdays feasibility study to develop both inbound/outbound integrations between Third-party /internal systems using EIBs, Connectors, Workday Studio.
- Design and create various Advanced, Matrix, Composite workday reports by including calculated fields wherever required.
- Thoroughly test configurations and integrations through unit testing and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) across teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues, user interface, design concepts, testing, and implementation
- Ability to identify areas of opportunity and proactively suggest solutions to improve business processes and achieve efficiency
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams across the organization and on global projects
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Experience conducting requirements analysis, meeting with business owners, and performing current state system analysis.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the application of modern integration technologies (EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .Net, middleware)
- Deep knowledge of Workday's Business Process Framework and Security
- Expert knowledge and practical experience of PECI/PICOF
- Must be a self-motivated, rapid learner, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Nice to have:
- Should be able to debug, troubleshoot, and analyze issues occurring in a production environment.
- Strong business orientation with insight into HR data, talent management, identity management and other business areas impacted by employee data and process.
- Prior consulting experience, preferably in a Big 4 environment with exposure to clients/customers in US and Europe.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
- Experience with project management tools and methods.
