Role Overview
The Workday Security Architect will be responsible for overall security architecture and governance across the Workday platform. This role is responsible for ensuring the right people have access to the right areas of the system and to access to the right associates.
You will partner with other Workday administrators on security configuration across all domains including Core HCM, Compensation, Finance, PRISM, Adaptive, Talent, Payroll, Time, Absence, Expense Management, Integrations, and Reporting.
This role requires Workday technical skills to modify custom, intersection and integration security configuration. Also, you will be responsible for secondary support and development of EIB, Studio integrations, and data loads.
System Support/Maintenance:
o            Responsible for overall security strategy, design, configuration, enhancements, and support.
o            Participate as key role on implementation of Security partnering with System implementer, Workday Product owner and business teams
o            Performs ongoing data, applications, and integration audits to ensure compliance.
o            Segregation of Duties: Responsible for process and management to ensure Workday set up is optimally defined with no violations
Process Redesign/Best Practices:
o            Serves as a core stakeholder in the system change management process ensuring proper security for Workday changes moving to Production.
o            Upgrades / New Features - Assess, plan, and launch new feature with each Workday Upgrade.
Communication/Organization:
o            Utilizes interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goals and reported issues.
o            Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Training and Documentation:
o            Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation.
o            Creates project documentation including business cases, process flow charts, requirements and test scripts.
Reporting:
o            Provide security reports to identify improvement opportunities and for security audits.
o            System Support - Troubleshoot security issues and identify and resolve root causes of issues.
o            Requirements Gathering - Understand business needs and capture requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
o            Bachelor’s or related work experience in Engineering, Business, Management Information System
o            Workday Certified in relation to Security
o            Experience with Sailpoint platform
o            Five years or more experience with Workday project implementation or operations role focused on implementation, governance, process improvement, and/or data analytics.
